Long Island is filled with plenty of parties, haunted houses and terrifying tours. Here are seven events that'll keep you up at night, because of fear or fun, and will take your savings and checking into consideration.

This 16-room mansion was built in 1845 and is a hotspot for mediums and ghost hunters. Expect clowns, with an apparent guest appearance from Pennywise the Clown, dolls and at least one flexible possessed woman on your trip through the property. I say property because the journey doesn't end in the house. To get to the end, you have to not only go through the mansion, but there is a detour through Terrifying Trail in the woods that must be taken to finish. Children under 12 are advised to be accompanied by a parent through the haunted house. The cost of admission is $15 including tax.

The newly-opened community center, Top Icon Center, is hosting their first Halloween extravaganza. The night includes a DJ, guest performances, food and refreshments. Make sure to bring your best costumes and be prepared to talk and receive smack while playing some fun games. Tickets are $20.

3. Challenge Escape Rooms, Bayside, Patchougue, Rockville Centre, Franklin Square

Escape rooms are growing in popularity, and there are several locations across Long Island and New York. You and a group will be put in a room of your choosing. Some options on the scarier side include Zombie nation in Bayside or Killer Countdown or Carnevil in Patchouge. Kids under 16 must go with a parent. The purpose is to make it through the puzzles in order to, of course, escape. Tickets are $28 per person.

4. Chamber of Horrors NY, Hauppauge

There are three chambers at this eerie excursion. First, you'll enter the stage show for a performance and after this, there are two other dark chambers to navigate through. There is a no-touching policy, so you won't have to worry about accidentally knocking someone out. There's no age limit and general admission is $35.

This party will be packed with six full bars, good vibes and costumes galore, a good place to get lit pre-Halloween. The party is for women 18 and over and men 21 and over. Tickets are $25 including tax.

6. Halloween Heist, Huntington

On Halloween night, the Banger Series will be hosting their Halloween Heist right in Huntington Village. It will be hosted in the rustic lounge Repeal XVII with a bar, DJ and hookah. Tickets are starting at $20.
